Hello Folks,
Ruth and I returned from Coshocton, Ohio where I preached a revival last week.  The church there is rather small about 65 in attendance but they support the revival really well and their hearts were filled up with the wonders of God.  It was a pleasure being there and getting to minister.  I think that Ruth must have sun in every service along with Pam Childers, the pastor's wife.
While I was there I got to see an old friend Duke Young.  He and I ran around together when I was a teenager before I entered the Army.  While he is not a Christian we had conversation about God and how his life had changed.  He was well on his way to becoming an alcoholic, if he was not already one, but stopped drinking 29 years ago, he is 63 now.  I ask you to pray for my friend because he needs Jesus in his life even if he does not think that to be the case.
This past week-end we had Dr. Rhonda Gibbs in our congregation.  She spoke to our youth on Saturday and then preached in both our worship services here on Sunday.  She also led in some leadership training.  Dr. Rhonda was a joy to have here and I believe that God used her greatly.  In our p.m. worship almost the entire congregation was at the altar praying and seeking God for our prayer lives.
Next week I will be in Kentucky on Nov. 5-6 in a Pastor's Fellowship Steering Committee meeting and ask you to pray that we hear from God in our time together.  I believe that we in the Church of God are at a pivotal time as a movement.  We will be making decisions that can have a great impact in the lives of many of our pastors and other leaders.  If we are not faithful to the Word of God then there is little, if anything, that we can do to build the Kingdom.  We will be considering what the theme for our May 6-7, 2013 Pastor's Fellowship meeting will be about, dealing with issues concerning conferences that will take place during that time, as well as other concerns that are in our hearts.  Pray that we hear from God so we can do His will.
Maybe some of you have concerns for the Church of God Reformation Movement and would like to give your thoughts to me.  I would be happy to take them to the meeting and present them if at all possible.  Let me know.

May He bless you,

HGRudd
